Arkadzi (also known as Arkadij Nikolaevich Gurskij) Hurski was born 15. August 1954 in the city of Šimanovsk in the Amurskej area (RSFSR) as the son of railwaymen. In 1976 he graduated from the Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of cars and tractors Belarus with specialization "internal combustion engines". He worked in the Minskom traktorovom plant, in the race for production motorcycles and bicycles and other enterprises and organizations. His first cartoon was published in the newspaper "Literature and art" (Лiтература i Мастацтва) in Minsk in 1980. Then he published in the magazines "Krokodil", "Ogoňok", "", "", in the FIS vremja Novoje newspaper "Izvestija", "True", "Literaturnaja Gazeta" Komsomolskaja, "Soviet Sport", "Rossia", as well as in national periodicals Literaturnaja "Vožyk", "junosti" and other Znamja. Arkadzi Hurski lives and creates in Minsk in Belarus.
